这幅手绘地图以昆明君悦酒店优越的地理区位为出发点，将酒店对昆明和云南文化的深刻理解、客人的多元化需求相结合，从历史、人文、自然与生活等多维度精选最具代表性的地理地标，以手绘艺术重构空间叙事。地图不仅是一份实用指南，更通过艺术化表达传递酒店”在地文化尊重”的核心理念——从公共区域艺术品中的动物元素，到封面插画中芝麻花、茶叶、山茶花、动物和自然景观等云南符号的交织，生物多样性、云岭山水等在地特质被赋予诗意诠释。
设计方面。封面将地图中大部分内容进行组合，形成有观赏性和装饰性的完整画幅。封底（红色页面）的设计则提炼和再现了酒店恢宏精美的大堂空间，将建筑和空间美学转化为平面视觉语言。地图中的按颜色区分每个地标，均以手绘形式呈现，并附注了实用的地点简介和交通等实用信息，形成”艺术表达、功能服务”的双重维度。
整体的手绘和设计，既延续了手绘插画”增强文本叙事性”的核心功能，又通过层次处理等，将酒店的理念、服务、空间设计与城市文化脉络融为一体，为客人提供便携、易读、实用和美观的住行小贴士。
This hand-drawn map, rooted in the superior geographical location of Kunming Grand Hyatt Hotel, integrates the hotel’s profound understanding of Kunming and Yunnan’s culture with guests’ diverse needs. It selects iconic landmarks from historical, cultural, natural, and lifestyle dimensions, reconstructing spatial narratives through artistic illustration. More than a practical guide, it poetically interprets Yunnan’s distinctive characteristics – from biodiversity to Yunling mountains and rivers – through artistic expressions. The core philosophy of “respect for local culture” manifests through the interplay of animal elements in public art installations and symbolic Yunnan motifs like sesame flowers, tea leaves, camellias (Kunming’s city flower), wildlife, and natural landscapes in the cover illustration.
